Situated almost where the White Peak and Dark Peak meet in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District, Litton is centrally placed for walks through Dovedale, Millers Dale, Stanage Edge and Kinder Scout. The Pennine Way, Limestone Way and many cycle trails can be easily reached as can the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. The surrounding area holds the hugely popular tourist destinations of Tideswell, 1 mile, Bakewell, 6 miles, Castleton, 8 miles and Buxton, 9 miles, with their many shops, cafes, restaurants, festivals and markets to spend hours meandering around.
