This cosy, but modest cottage, can be found adjoining the owner’s home in a truly rural location within the heart of the Peak District National Park. Surrounded by glorious countryside and far reaching views, it makes a perfect base for true outdoor enthusiasts, with superb and ample walking opportunities available direct from the door. These include the popular Axe Edge Moor, the Three Shires Heads (where the counties of Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Derbyshire meet), and walking routes which begin just 1 mile away in England’s highest village, Flash.
Although in a rural location, nearby Flash village is home to a local store, café, as well as a pub serving traditional food. In addition, the towns of Buxton, 15 minutes, Leek, 20 minutes, and Bakewell, 30 minutes, are all close by. The beautiful honey pot village of Castleton and Alton Towers Theme Park can be reached in around 30 minutes, and the magnificent, historic Chatsworth House with its year round calendar of events in about 40 minutes. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
