This 46-mile route starts from Castleton, then crosses the lovely White Peak landscape at the heart of the Peak District National Park, before following the River Dove and ending at Rocester in Staffordshire. The walking is varied and includes spectacular limestone dale scenery, as well as taking in the delightful villages of Monyash, Bonsall, Tissington and Thorpe. There are also short spurs from Bonsall to Matlock and from Thorpe to Ashbourne.
