Known as one of the wonders of the Derbyshire Peaks, Chatsworth House is the home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. Chatsworth house and gardens have attracted visitors, from all over the world, for many generations and it's easy to see why.

After years of painstaking work and restoration there is now a new visitor route through the stunning house, including newly restored galleries, displays of rare treasures, a restored stone courtyard at the heart of the house and elegant new displays celebrating the legendary Duchess Georgiana.

Younger visitors and families will particularly enjoy the farmyard with its wide variety of animals and their young, and the spectacular woodland adventure playground. There are daily demonstrations and a chance to handle some of the animals. There is also a cafe, shop and adventure playground on site.

The 105 acre garden is set in magical landscape and is beautiful in all seasons. There are five miles of walks with rare trees, shrubs, formal hedges, streams and ponds all with suggested trails and routes which show off the history of the house and gardens.

Throughout the garden you will also find sculptures, fragments and vases of every kind, from a Roman altar and lead statues of Samson and Pan, to water gods and sea horses.

Chatsworth house, garden, farmyard & adventure playground, gift shops and restaurants are open all year round and promises to entertain the whole family for days! Visit their website for more infomation.
