The property has been completely renovated and equipped with modern appliances. The cottage is close to the interesting towns of Wirksworth and Matlock and is within easy reach of the famous Chatsworth House and Park and the stunning gardens of Haddon Hall. Wirksworth has many fascinating village shops and a number of different bars and restaurants offering great food.

The cottage is in a very convenient catchment area for many major attractions, including Heights of Abraham, Alton Towers, the High Peak Trail, Matlock Bath and the Black Rocks. In the valley below the cottage, is the local Ecclesbourne Valley Steam Railway which is a community owned and locally managed railway operating between Wirksworth and Duffield
There are many good walks close by and a footpath into the valley is located front of the cottage. It is a fabulous location for exploring the countryside both on foot or bike and has many picturesque towns and villages full of history and offering local produce A truly great location close to many popular attractions.
