This cosy, spacious and traditional cottage is situated in the heart of the village of Bradwell. It has been furnished to a very good standard and offers an excellent base for walking, cycling or just relaxing. Bradwell village boasts a thriving high street of shops including the famous Bradwell Ice Cream shop, a family run fish and chip shop, bakery, coffee house and small supermarket. There are four pubs in the village to suit every taste, all providing food and most allowing children, dogs and muddy boots. A huge range of superb walks are in Bradwell and the surrounding area, including a very popular walk direct from Bradwell to Castleton a must see village at any time of the year. There are excellent transport links to and from the village with Hope Rail Station only minutes away, being on the direct line for Manchester and Sheffield.
The cottage enjoys a TV with Free view, a DVD player and a games console with a good selection of DVD's books and tables games for the family. Dogs are particularly welcome, with doggy bowls provided and a treat pack to ensure they don't miss out on all the fun!

Close by are the villages of Edale, with its cafe, pubs and stunning walks and scenery - ( Kinder Scout - the start of the Pennine Way), Castleton, home of the semi precious stone - Blue John and fascinating caves, impressive castle and many shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Other villages close by include Hathersage, Hope, Calver, Grindleford and historic Eyam - the plague village with its cafes, pubs information centre, pretty church and interesting museum. A short drive away is Bakewell with many shops, bars, restaurants and weekly market providing locally sourced produce and monthly farmer's market in the Agricultural Centre. The Stately home of Chatsworth House, Garden and Park is a must and is set in acres of farmland with an abundance of walks and cycle routes. Haddon Hall is on the edge of Bakewell and has some truly stunning gardens to visit. A 1/2 hour drive will take you to Buxton and Matlock respectfully and they both have a number of attractions including Gulliver's Kingdom, The Heights of Abraham, Spring Gardens and The Opera House to mention just a few, both well worth a visit. Bradwell is well served by public transport with a busy timetable for surrounding villages and also further afield.
