The lodge is close to Calver, Grindleford and the Hope Valley and only a short drive from the famous market town of Bakewell. It is well positioned and offers a superb base for walking, rock climbing, cycling and touring the Peak District National Park. The famous Froggatt Edge is only a stones throw away, very popular with rock climbers and walkers alike. The property has the benefit of being surrounded by many different footpaths and walks and is close by car to the stunning Chatsworth House and Park and the beautiful gardens of Haddon Hall.
The lodge is situated in the ideal location to explore some of Derbyshire's most stunning and interesting attractions. It is close to the bustling market town of Chesterfield and only a short drive away from the pretty town of Ashbourne, Matlock and Matlock Bath. I have stayed in many properties in the Peak District and this has ticked all the boxes for my wife, myself and my dog.
