Close by is Carsington Water with its Visitors Centre and children's play area. Alton Towers offers a fun packed day for all ages and is situated within an easy drive. The popular towns of Buxton and Matlock are all within easy reach as is the famous market and pudding town of Bakewell,. A beautiful property in and excellent location, ideal for exploring the surrounding area.

An excellently furnished, clean and quiet property with ample supplies of pots, pans, condiments - including tea and coffee, washing up utensils etc. A welcoming jug of fresh milk and biscuits awaited us and as the private garden was bathed in late afternoon sunshine we took advantage of a half-hour read, and pot of tea before an exploratory walk up the hill. We were out into open countryside within a few minutes watching young buzzards wheeling and calling above us. Grand!
