This beautifully renovated 100 year old Peak District cottage is in the picturesque village of Stanton in the Peak, close to the pretty market town of Bakewell. The property has a cosy lounge with log burner and offers comfortable accommodation with a high standard of decoration and furnishings. Stanton in the Peak is a very typical White Peak village and has an elevated position overlooking the area in and around Bakewell. The village of Birchover is close by and has stunning views out towards Stanton Moor and has two pubs in the village, The Druids Inn, famous for its good food and the Red Lion which has a 30ft well inside the main bar, covered by a thick glass top.

 The village is near many interesting towns and villages and is a short drive from the famous Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House, Park and Gardens. Bakewell town has a pretty river running through it and a market in the centre of the town every Monday. There are many interesting shops and cafes and a number of bars and restaurants. The spa town of Buxton famous for its Opera House and spa water is easily reached by car, as are the popular towns of Matlock and Matlock Bath. Here you can visit The Heights of Abraham and Gulliver's Kingdom and the famous Arkwright Mill which is only in the next town of Cromford, two minutes drive away. A truly idyllic location in beautiful surroundings.
