The popular spa town of Buxton is only a short drive away, with pretty park and ornate Opera House showing many top class performers. Bakewell, the quaint market town is close by and offers many interesting shops, pubs and restaurants. The famous Chatsworth House and Park and Haddon Hall are within a few minutes drive of Bakewell as is the towns of Matlock and Matlock Bath. Here you will find Gulliver's Kingdom, The Heights of Abraham and lovely walks alongside the river. A truly idyllic location in a lovely peaceful village.
